Went for my birthday dinner. We had reservations and were seated right away. We ordered the 12 oz rib eyes. The best rib eye I've ever had at a restaurant. The flavor was amazing and cooked perfectly. The sauce for the mussels was amazing! The sauce for shrimp just melted in my mouth. We ordered seconds of the mussels and shrimp to take home. Destiny our server was awesome! She was sweet and attentive. Will definitely be going back. It's definitely a hidden gem I never even noticed in the daylight driving through downtown Brooksville.

Chop Block is a nice restaurant in strip mall. Clean but some of ceiling tiles were dirty. Lunch from 11-4 with special 😋 priced meals from 11-2. They are precise with the 2 pm end on those specials. We arrived at 205 pm was sit in booth at 225 pm (not busy, seemed to be well staffed), booth was still wet from cleaning. Was able to order around 235pm food arrived at 250pm. The two orders were the Linguine Bolognese ($9) and the country fried steak($12). The Bolognese looked very nice, just no flavor, no spices, Italian sausage no flavor. Chefs please 🙏🏼 taste you sauces. Also maybe a side of bread with a pasta dish? The menu description of the Country Fried Steak was better than the Sysco version that was served. Description sort of implies fresh made. Definitely better flavor with green beans and mashed potatoes. Service was slow and us being there seemed unappreciated as one of the servers was counting lunch rush receipts at the table next to us, food had the potential of being better. Maybe 205 pm is just a bad time to visit. Prices reasonable. We are on the fence about revisiting. We do want to support local businesses. Give it try, just not at 205 pm

It's my second visit for the Wednesday Taco Lunch. Steak or Fish Tacos, Hand cut French fries and a drink- $8.00. The food is amazing in every aspect. Made with love. A must for everyone, small intimate dining experience with a Staff that cares.

First time here. Had the Ribeye, we also tried the Twin Lobster Rails, Chicken and Fettuccine. If you like bourbon try the Kentucky Jungle Bird. The Owner even stopped by to say hi!

We drove from Tampa to Brooksville to watch my fiance's son's band concert. We wanted to try some new not just another bar and grill. Chophouse did not disappoint! The good and service was great. Make sure you make a reservation though because we didn't and we were lucky enough to get one of the side tables lol
