Art & Murals

Florida’s Adventure Coast, Brooksville-Weeki Wachee provides inspiration to a variety of artists and crafts people.

While art abounds throughout Florida’s Adventure Coast, Brooksville and Hernando Beach each offer stunning mural trails.

Part of the Florida Mural Trail, Brooksville’s self-guided mural tour is full of small-town charm, sharing stories of community, history, and what’s to come in the future.

Take a scenic drive along Shoal Line Boulevard to enjoy painted murals and the sculptures interspersed with the natural beauty of Hernando Beach. Among them you will spot many of the beautiful statues along the Mermaid Tale Trail.

Boyett’s Grove & Citrus Attraction also offers whimsical, wacky art on display, not limited to the bright mural that can be seen while driving by on Spring Lake Highway.

Hosted by the City of Brooksville, the Gallery at 201 features a rotating exhibit of locally-made artwork in all mediums. Admission is always free, and many works are available for purchase.

“A social club where art speaks,” the Rusted Jade Art Collective offers a gallery as well as workshops and events for all ages and abilities.

Locals and visitors alike can enjoy art festivals and cultural events throughout the year, including Art in the Park, the monthly Front Porch Art Walk and Weeki Wachee Swamp Fest, among others.

The Gallery at 201 is a free resource for artists, students, teachers, and anyone in the community.
