I had zero prior scuba experience going into my Open Water Certification, and Brandon, Kyle, and Shawn made it easy. They're clear, patient instructors who never made me feel bad for asking them to explain something a second (or third) time. Between dives, I don't think I've laughed that hard in a long time — these guys make the whole experience fun, not just technically solid. I finished the course feeling genuinely confident in the water, which says a lot about how they teach. Hernando Beach Scuba is the real deal. 100% recommend.

The guys over at hernando beach scuba are amazing at what they do. For any person or veteran looking to get certified I highly recommend these guys. From day one to the last day they answered every question knowledgeably. I went from anxious to confident in this sport because of the instructors. This was one of the best experiences I’ve had learning a new skill in my life. I’m so excited to schedule dives in the near future because of the confidence HBHeros instilled into me. They lead by example and present exemplary leadership to their students. I am so grateful I was able to get my certification done through these guys.

I had an absolutely amazing experience with Hernando Beach Scuba! From start to finish, everything was professional, organized, and incredibly welcoming. Instructors Brandon and Kyle were beyond amazing. They made safety their top priority while still keeping the experience fun and relaxed. Their calm, patient, and caring approach immediately put me at ease, and they took the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly. You can truly tell they are passionate about diving and genuinely care about their students. Not only is the instruction top-notch, but the locations where they certify you are absolutely beautiful. Each dive site truly captivates you, making the learning experience even more unforgettable. Being certified in such stunning surroundings made the entire journey even more special. What I also love is that you can continue your training with them and take it as far as you want to go, whether you’re diving recreationally or beyond. They support your goals every step of the way and provide the guidance and encouragement to help you grow and advance your skills. I felt completely safe the entire time, which allowed me to fully enjoy the experience. Whether you’re a beginner or more experienced, I can’t recommend them enough, and I can’t wait to dive with them again!

Hi! My name is Zoey and I’m 12. I got my diving certification from Brandon and he was AWESOME! I understood everything and had fun! After the open water dives, he had me clean the gear and so now I know how to do it and he was always ready with the tanks filled up all the way.He has almost unlimited gear that was nice and in great condition. He was super chill and nice and funny and was overall a great teacher! I give him a 20/10😁😁😁. -ZOEY OUT! PEACE!!!✌️
