We had a wonderful time over a long weekend here. We've been to Weeki Wachee in the past and this was our best experience for lodging. The house is spacious and packed with everything you could need to have a comfortable and fun experience. The kayaks were perfect for a family day in the water and our dogs enjoyed their time. We were thankful for a dog friendly home in a beautiful location. We will absolutely be back.

Great place to stay!! We've been visiting Weeki Wachee for many years and this is one of the nicest places we have stayed. Carolyn was an awesome host and very responsive. The house was stocked with everything you would need, you can tell they put a lot of thought into making this a perfect vacation spot! It is a pretty quick paddle to the main river but we still had manatees swim by the dock on a regular basis. We highly recommend Little Spring Retreat for your next stay!!

Exceptional stay!!! We have been staying in Weeki Wachee for 10 years and Carolyn's place is by far our best experience. It was a short weekend stay with our little dog for my husband's birthday. We normally don't visit in the warmer months thinking there wouldn't be any manatees in the river (most go out to the warm Gulf waters), but to our delight we saw them up close and personal every day! We saw the same 3 (w/baby) in the canal by the house and the main canal leading to the main river. The house was extremely clean, spacious and had everything we needed! The bed was super comfy and the well thought out decor and ambient lighting made the space super cozy. Carolyn thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. The shade trees near the dock made for comfortable enjoyment to just relax by the water. The little theatre was a hit- what a great idea! The tandem kayak was perfect for us and our little dog and he loved the swim mat too. I highly recommend Little Spring Retreat, you won't be disappointed!!

From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The directions were clear, the grounds beautifully maintained, and even the stairs had railings (which we appreciated). Check-in was super easy with the provided instructions.The house itself was spotless. The layout is lovely, the kitchen is well-organized. The washer and dryer worked perfectly, there were plenty of towels, and huge closets with extra pillows—and even a twin mattress in each one! It comfortably sleeps 6, with a pull-out couch in the movie room that can sleep another 2. This place has everything for a full day on the river: kayaks, paddleboards, fishing poles, swim noodles. We saw manatees and dolphins right off the dock.

We stayed here for a week for a family reunion. Carolyn was a wonderful host, went above and beyond ensure we had everything we needed. The home is beautifully appointed. Our families were spread over 3 houses and the Little Spring Retreat was gracious enough to allow them to spend time there as the main place for us to float off the dock and enjoy dinner together. They even had a waffle maker! We had a magical time watching a whole family of manatees in the water. The movie room was great for the kids in the evening. We will definitely stay there again!

Carolyn has thee perfect home away from home. We had father's day there. The amount of room, the location, and the amenities were perfect. She absolutely thought of everything. Usually you have to scramble to the stores to pick up things you forgot i.e. fishing poles, life jackets, ice chests, spices, and such. Nope little spring retreat had it all! She even had a popcorn machine and popcorn for the theater room! We are excitedly planning our next trip there. Thank you so much Carolyn!

My family and I had an amazing week at this beautiful home. Our ages ranged from 6 to 85. The accommodations were ideal, and the wide array of amenities available meant we never had to leave the property. I am extremely thankful for the time we spent here, as it provided us with unforgettable experiences. A sincere thank you to Carolyn, Tiffany, and Toni for being such exceptional hosts. We spent the majority of our time on the dock and swimming in the canal. We enjoyed playing on the lily pad, watching dolphins, manatees, and fish swim by everyday. Even an owl came to visit us every night. It was absolutely perfect! A solid 10 out of 10! Communication was prompt, and any issues we raised were resolved immediately. Thank you once more for your kindness and warm welcome to our family; we are genuinely appreciative.

The best rental with the best host! The house is so comfortable and well stocked. We stayed for three weeks and had everything we could have possibly needed. Carolyn and Miranda did everything to make our stay the best it could be. The access to the water is incredible, the stock of kayaks and water gear is so fun. I would love to come back another time!
