Kayla StankunasWe really enjoyed our stay at the Cabin by the sea. It’s located on a canal off the gulf, we were able to rent a pontoon for the day & leave straight from our own dock. The kids enjoyed the backyard with fishing and kayaks. The house has been newly renovated and slept the 5 of us comfortably. The host was easily accessible and was accommodating too. We enjoyed weeki watchee with just a short drive down the street. Would return happily!

Brian NeeleyWe stayed two nights in the Sirenity room. It's self-checkin, and the first night (Tuesday, mid July), we were the only ones there. It's right off the highway, but still quiet. There is a small place for a fire that looks out into the canal, and it was tremendously peaceful. All in all, the room was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully styled. Will definitely return. It's far enough away from the city to be peaceful, yet close enough that it's easy to run out for whatever you might need. The Sirenity Suite is an extra $10 or so per night, but we think it's well worth it for the tub & shower. The "kitchen" has a coffee maker, microwave, air fryer, and mini-fridge, as well as plates, silverware, cups, etc.

Lee FloydMy wife and I stayed there for a mini “staycation”. We definitely want to return for a second honeymoon ASAP! We live in the Central Florida area and found Neptune’s Grotto almost by accident. We had no idea it was so very nice. The owners obviously have poured their heart and soul into the property. The bed(s) all had temper foam high-end mattresses, and the attention to detail was evident everywhere. Highly recommended!

devin sipleWe just spent a few amazing days in two of the homes with Neptune’s Grotto, The Captain’s Quarter and The Chubby Mermaid, and both were fantastic! I’ve stayed in several rentals in the area, and The Chubby Mermaid might be my new favorite. They put so much thought into decorating both homes, and the small details were truly impressive. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests and their experience. Anytime we needed anything, they were quick to respond and incredibly helpful. We visit every year around this time, and I would be more than happy to stay here again next year. The price was more than fair, actually cheaper than a hotel and far nicer. A hotel simply can’t offer the fantastic canal views or the simple joy of watching fish jump right from your porch. Highly recommend!

P. RzPros: conveniently located about 10min from the Weeki Wachee Springs park, close to restaurants and supermarkets. We stayed at the Muddy Mermaid Room. Cute decor, perfect for a couples on a relaxing weekend get away. They have outdoor chairs, fire pit , kayaks and boats. Cons: the A/C is loud and they didn't have a full length mirror.
