Hernando Helps Family Development Fair

The Hernando County Housing and Supportive Services Department is hosting a 🎪 “Hernando Helps Family Development Fair” from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026.

This free event will be held at the Jerome Brown Community Center, located at 99 Jerome Brown Pl., Brooksville, FL 34601.

📚The Hernando Helps Family Development Fair is designed to provide participants with resources to enhance employment, education, health, and life skills.

🪙Attendees can participate in financial literacy and credit counseling workshops, explore job training and educational opportunities, connect with employment resources, and learn about mental and physical health treatment and prevention services.

🏫Participating organizations include Pasco-Hernando State College, Wilton Simpson Technical College, CareerSource Pasco-Hernando, HOPE Services, and other community partners. Homeownership workshops will also be offered at 11:15 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 12:45 p.m.

The Hernando County Housing and Supportive Services Department encourages residents to attend this valuable event and utilize the resources available to support individuals and families in the community.
