A hiden jem of Caribbean Jamaican food disguised as just a cheesecake shop is located just southeast of Brooksville on US 98 just before the merger of US 41. If I hadn't been directed there by my foodie friends at Happy Tails Pet Supply, I might have never discovered this spicy Caribbean restaurant located past the bowling alley just before the road splits into a 4 lane divided highway. If you blink, you will drive right past the entrance. Once inside I was confronted with so many different flavors of cheesecake, I couldn't take it all in at first. But I was looking for lunch, and the Jerk Shrimp did not disappoint with it's spicy jerk seasoning and sweet wonderful dipping sauce on the side. Included was a large inverted bowl of Caribbean rice and gandules (pigeon peas) and some fried cabbage Jamaican style with a few golden caramelized maduros. Think sweet sauteed banana slices if you're not familiar with this simple but tasty comfort food staple of Latin cuisine! And then it was time to taste some cheesecake. I was very full at this point, but as I'm not often in Brooksville, I wasn't going to leave without a slice. The test of a good cheesecake bakery is to go for the plain but rich NY style cheesecake. However, I had already spied earlier the guava version, so I had to see if those flavors I remembered from growing up in South Florida would bring me back to my younger days. And after my first bite, I realized this was no store bought version, but the real rich creamy deal cheesecake with a nice bonus flavor of guava. Wow! I should have asked for a takeout box after my first couple of bites, but that sweet creamy flavor kept being my fork back to the plate. No point in wasting a take out box at that point. And if the tasty food were not enough, the wait staff was super friendly and attentive. Just before I left, the chef herself appeared behind the cheesecake display with a big Jamaican smile that silently lets you know, "Yes, I know my food is great tasting and I'm proud to show it!"

We finally made it to La Signature Cheesecake in Brooksville and WOW… this place absolutely lives up to the hype! The cheesecake is unbelievably creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced. It’s not overly sweet—just smooth, decadent, and full of flavor in every bite. You can tell everything is made with real care and high-quality ingredients. The texture is flawless—velvety and melt-in-your-mouth good. Every flavor tastes homemade and crafted with passion, not mass-produced like you find in most places. The service was just as great as the cheesecake. Friendly, welcoming, and you can really feel the pride they take in what they do. If you’re anywhere near Brooksville and love cheesecake, do yourselves a favor and stop by. We can honestly say it’s some of the best cheesecake we’ve ever had. Brooksville is lucky to have this little gem! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We originally came here for the cheesecakes (which are absolutely AMAZING), but we were blown away when we discovered they also serve AUTHENTIC Jamaican food! The beef patties are out of this world, flaky, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Every bite was pure comfort. The rest of the food was just as DELICIOUS, and you can taste the love in every dish. The owners are such wonderful, genuine people who make you feel like family the second you walk through the door. It’s rare to find a place that can deliver both authentic cuisine and incredible desserts, but this spot does it all. Don’t leave without grabbing a cheesecake to go, you won’t regret it!

It was my husband’s & I first time visiting and we will be visiting again. The staff were very friendly and delivered great service. Being from New York, restaurants out here often fail when it comes to flavor, this place did not! My husband and I were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our dinners. I will say the Mac & Cheese needs a bit more love but overall, it’s ok. PLENTY of cheesecake options… can’t wait to try other flavors.

The cheesecake signage caught my eye so I stopped on a whim. WOW! I'm sure glad I stopped. I picked up a Jerk Chicken sandwich and a couple slices of cheesecake for takeaway. The sandwich was huge! The chicken was perfectly spiced, tender and plentiful; the toppings and roll were fresh. The cheesecake was absolutely decadent. 😋 🤌 The owners are cheerful and friendly. The place is spotless, bright, and welcoming if you choose to dine in. If you're crave is for Jamaican eats or sweet treats, you won't regret stopping in here.
