The Lazy maid Creperie located at 419 Howell Ave Brooksville, FL is one of those plan around destinations worth the roadtrip to experience! Make sure you plan ahead and make reservations for big parties, the parking itself is plentiful on location or around the area. The staff were an absolute delight to deal with. I absolutely loved the fashion sense of each and every employee! They looked like Alice in wonderland characters capturing the overall French and fantasy decor. Now let’s get to the crepes….I had the banana dream to start, these fluffy beauties were full of flavor with fresh bananas, smooth banana jam, vanilla wafer crumble, airy whip cream and topped with decadent carmel drizzle with powdered sugar and chopped walnuts! The portion sizes are oversized and perfect for sharing with others to experience multiple dishes in one sitting! I did order the mini cannoli crepe to see the portion size and even the mini looks like a full meal! It was topped with a house made cannoli, whip cream, and powdered sugar, filled with cannoli filling, shell crumble, and chocolate chips wrapped in a warm crepe! I wasn’t surprised that this dish was amazing as well! The experience, hospitality and food at the low to moderate prices was an absolute steal! If you’re on the fence about this place….don’t be, go and have zero regrets!!! The Lazy Maid Crêperie shoutout to Megan for being an all star server!
Apr 11, 2026 · Google ReviewSo yesterday I went to Brooksville to try The Lazy Maid Crêperie and Y’ALLL. It was such an experience! For reference it was an hour and 45 minutes to get there and I show up and it’s crawling with people, inside and outside. I was told it was gonna be a 40 minute wait and I was like no worries, it must be good if everyone else it waiting around, right?? So I’m sitting outside on one of their many garden chairs, just talking on the phone with my mama and I get called in, it is the most preciously, well thought out decorated restaurant. You can just tell the owner put her heart and soul into the place. My server was absolutely precious, I ended up ordering a savory crepe, it was so good. But the best part was their creme brulee. Creme brulee is my absolute favorite dessert, and I don’t know what their secret is but they are doing it right. The custard part almost tasted like it was whipped, and the carmelized sugar had a hint of something to it, it made it almost taste like some subtle notes of butterscotch. Anyways, when my server comes back around I have to tell her look I drove this far, and this is the best creme brulee I’ve EVER had. And she says to me that she is so glad to hear that, her mom is actually the owner and would love to hear it. Not long after that Mrs. Val is sitting at my table and we are laughing and talking well after their closing time, and I just have to say that Mrs. Val, that restaurant is truly you. Your restaurant and staff are efficient and wonderful. Your taste in decor and creativity is amazing. The food is spectacular and you guys most definitely deserved Restaurant of the Year. You guys earned it! Thank you for making my experience personable and memorable. You’re truly a shining example of what small business owners should be like. And also, thank you to your daughter for doing a creme brulee to go for me! I’m currently savoring every little bite while writing this post. I will be back for sure! Tell your daughter to keep making those reels, because it makes people like me drive almost 2 hours to come see y’all! Keep up the amazing work, and I hope you and your husband go antique hunting soon! Until next time!♥️
Jan 17, 2026 · Google ReviewIt was very busy. ( 1hr wait. ) No reservations taken but you can get on the wait-list. (Wish they had told us that. We drove an hour and then waited an hour since others had called ahead.) We ended up sitting on the porch so not so great for service or atmosphere. However, the interior is beautiful. The pics show the lovely rooms inside. The food was wonderful. Savory and sweet. Complimentary champagne for Valentine's Day was a great surprise. Deffinattly going back... And calling ahead!
Feb 15, 2026 · Google ReviewA true gem. Excellent food, great atmosphere and superb service. A wonderful parisian experience in dowtown Brooksville! A dog friendly stablishement with a menu for your furry friend. The owner was very warm and welcoming as was her entire staff. We can't wait to return!
Jan 22, 2026 · Google ReviewPlace is adorable, if slightly too adorable. Felt a little personally attacked by flowers but the adorable house and food made it worth while. The decor is a bit dizzying, but the food is great, portions large and prices very reasonable. Service was a little slow, but they were jammed for Easter Sunday and offered on the house mimosas. The sweet crepes come in half size orders, thank the stars, because that's a lot of sweet and whipped cream. Everything was delicious. I absolutely over ordered but took plenty home.
