I stopped by Carrabba's for lunch, fully intending to have a nice, responsible meal. That plan lasted approximately 37 seconds. I started with the house salad topped with their creamy Parmesan dressing. It was fresh, crisp, and loaded with romaine lettuce, Greek olives, banana peppers, and sliced carrots. Usually, salads are just something I politely tolerate until the real food arrives. This one actually deserved some attention. My better half ordered the chicken sausage soup, and naturally I had to steal a few bites for "quality control." It reminded me of a hearty vegetable soup with lentils, diced tomatoes, generous chunks of chicken sausage, and plenty of flavor. It wasn't thick and creamy, which I actually appreciated. Sometimes soup doesn't need to be the consistency of gravy to be good. To drink, I ordered the Hugo Spritz. If a mojito decided to pack its bags and spend a summer vacation in Italy, this would be the result. It was light, refreshing, and dangerously easy to drink. It also reminded me that I really need to get my passport because apparently my taste buds are ready to travel before I am. My boyfriend ordered the ribeye with garlic mashed potatoes, and Carrabba's clearly understands that garlic should be measured with your heart, not a teaspoon. The mashed potatoes were creamy, buttery, and had just the right amount of garlic. The ribeye was cooked perfectly with a great sear and was tender all the way through. I ordered the Chicken Trio because making one decision is overrated. The Chicken Bryan completely stole the show. The tangy lemon butter sauce, creamy goat cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and juicy grilled chicken all came together into one bite that made perfect sense. Whoever came up with that combination deserves a raise. The stuffed chicken with the creamy tangy mushroom sauce was another winner. The cheesy stuffing paired perfectly with the sauce, and the chicken stayed juicy instead of turning into the dry chicken breast we've all sadly accepted at one restaurant or another. The Chicken Marsala was still good, but if I had to rank the three, it came in last. It could have used a little more Marsala flavor to really stand out. It wasn't bad by any means—it was just competing against two overachievers. Overall, everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked exactly the way it should have been. The service was friendly, the food came out quickly, and I once again left a restaurant wondering why I ever think ordering a salad means I'm making healthy life choices
Jul 2, 2026 · Google ReviewI stopped for lunch on Tuesday, Mar 24. I ordered a seafood combo of shrimp and scallops. I had their house salad and garlic mashed as sides and also the lovely bread with the herbed oil for dipping. They have a great deal where you can bring home another entree of equal or lesser value for only $10. My first meal qualified for that special. The price was a few pennies from $30. The entree I got to take home was a 10 oz sirloin steak, mashed potato, and sausage lentil soup as my side. Pretty darned good meals for $40! My server was a fine young man named Joshua. He got everything right and was attentive, but not overly so that I felt rushed. I'm a slow eater and I enjoy when someone else does the cooking, especially when it's a fine meal. If you want to know why I gave 4 stars for food well, maybe I shouldn't order seafood at an Italian restaurant. My bad. The food was plentiful and well presented. Salad was very fresh and dressing superb. The meal was served hot as well. The sauce over the scallops was exquisite. Unfortunately, both the shrimp and scallops tasted very fishy. Most likely from being frozen, at least I hope. Usually fish deliveries are Tuesday and Friday. I supposed if it's frozen, it doesn't matter so much. I've eaten a long ton of seafood in my 68 years, so I do know what it should taste like. When I got home, I realized the soup was not in the bag with my take away meal. An oversight that I'm ok with because overall, I had such a pleasant experience. I was not disappointed with Joshua at all and left a 50% tip. When you have a single diner, the table doesn't usually bring a server as much as a table with 2, 3,or 4 people of course. I don't drink anything but water, so I use that money saved toward a better than average tip. I hope Joshua had a good shift that day. I will return. I want an order of that soup!! Oh, I tried the steak and it is perfect! I saw Chicken Marsala on the menu and asked if they had veal? No. Maybe next time 😋 The picture of the salad was after I had eaten more than half of it. Ate here again on Tuesday, Apr 21, 2026. The service and food were as wonderful as they were a month ago. Christina was attentive, but not making me feel rushed in any way. I got the spicy sausage lentil soup and it was devine. The steak is a top sirloin, cooked to my liking, tender and flavorful. I love this restaurant. I do still wish for some veal selections, though. Veal parmesan, marsala, and picatta would be lovely 😋 🙏 👍
Apr 23, 2026 · Google ReviewCarrabbas was great as usual. Great service and great food. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. Kids dinner is very reasonable. I was impressed with the crab cakes it was our first time trying them. They have lamb currently that was phenomenal ! Add the $10 take home meals and its really hard to beat. We look forward to the next time we go.

Feb 18, 2026 · Google ReviewWe went for lunch on 6-18-26. We ordered the endless soup, salad, and bread. The bread is the best! They serve it with olive oil and herbs. The ceaser salad is good. My husband loves the mamascillias soup. I love the tomato basil soup which is not on the lunch menu anymore but my super attentive Server Mike K. found some for me. I was so happy. I will ask for Mike every time I go from now on Mike is the only one who took the extra effort to get it for me and believe me I have asked for it a few times in the past but I was told from other servers it was only served at dinnertime and I couldn't have it. Thank you Mike for making my lunch a happy one.
