What an awesome day!!! We woke up super early, my body decided 5am was good, lol, and we headed to Weeki Wachi and I put my new paddle board in the water. We saw a raccoon, who wanted to jump on my paddleboard. So cute, but no. 🤪 we saw 4 manatee, one group of which was a mama and her 2 babies, one of which is in the video and later when we came back was so curious, he came right up to me. 😍no, I did not molest him! 😇 these 2 little twin girls found a baby turtle swimming, which was the size of a quarter. 🐢 we found rocks with fun messages and some that are not in these pictures, found in a rock scavenger hunt someone left to find. 2 out of 4 ain't bad. 😁 Also found pairs of glasses and goggles as part of the memory. Best part was having my favorite person in the world, my daughter, join me and my wonderful friends today and share all of this with us. I feel truly blessed and very happy to have this new adventure for myself. 🥰🥰🥰

We got there early on a Tuesday and had our choice of parking. We brought our own yaks and paddled up the river for several miles before floating back, attempting to fish on the way. We got to see 2 manatees and did land several bass and brim. Overall we had a great time.

Good spot to launch boat or relax at sectioned of swimming area. Volleyball court, playground, bathrooms, kayak rentals, boat rentals. Overall was a good clean place to visit.

Hot day, cool, clean, clear water! The perfect place to float and not crowded at all. No bad smells and eclveryone was polite. Not much parking so be prepared to walk a bit. We'll worth it though.

It was a busy place that was also very peaceful. Smaller than I expected. Many people were in the swim area. Some people were taking kayaks out of the water. We saw a person on a stand up paddle board. Others mentioned a manatee nearby. I would go back!
