Lakewood is AMAZING! Do yourself a favor and book today. The time we've spent at Lakewood has become core memories for myself, my children, and our homeschool community. We are forever grateful to their amazing staff for being so responsive to our needs and for taking care of this place which we love so much. The office manager is kind and helpful and truly just wants everyone to have the best time; the facility is just what is needed for a weekend away to enjoy God's creation and the company of those you care about.

Lakewood Retreat is the perfect location for any group or organization looking for an opportunity to provide community and connection for their people. We have been attending Lakewood for our Annual Family Camping Retreat for 7 years and we would never consider going anywhere else. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The facilities are exactly what's needed - from the pool to the play areas to the rec center. The lakeside chapel is a perfect space for morning chapel. Thank you Lakewood for becoming a part of our story!!

I can’t say enough amazing things about this place. It reminds me so much of the campgrounds. I went to as a young girl with my church. Recently came here with my children’s school and it was my first time coming with them. The grounds are so beautiful and they are so well kept. The staff that I met are so friendly and so nice and are willing to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We saw a lot of beautiful Nature and there’s nothing better than seeing kids having a blast outdoors all day long. There is always something to do. The cabins are clean and comfortable. The air conditioners work amazingly! I even made my way over to the donkeys and spent some time with them. Thank you so much to those who keep this place going. You’re doing a great job And we are so thankful to have a place like this to come and worship the Lord and have fun.

So we came here with our school group, for 3 days. We had A-blast! We were in our camper all the connections in everything hooked up just fine. In each campsite was a picnic table and a small firing. There is a beautiful Lake down by the water and there was also lots of fun amenities for the kids. Unfortunately it rain one day but the kids just took advantage of it and got a little muddy (just watch video). This is a very family friendly campground and if you don't have kids it might not be the place for you. Lots of energy and noise from kids having a blast. We will most definitely be back!
