Lakewood Retreat is the perfect location for any group or organization looking for an opportunity to provide community and connection for their people. We have been attending Lakewood for our Annual Family Camping Retreat for 7 years and we would never consider going anywhere else. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The facilities are exactly what's needed - from the pool to the play areas to the rec center. The lakeside chapel is a perfect space for morning chapel. Thank you Lakewood for becoming a part of our story!!

Lakewood is AMAZING! Do yourself a favor and book today. The time we've spent at Lakewood has become core memories for myself, my children, and our homeschool community. We are forever grateful to their amazing staff for being so responsive to our needs and for taking care of this place which we love so much. The office manager is kind and helpful and truly just wants everyone to have the best time; the facility is just what is needed for a weekend away to enjoy God's creation and the company of those you care about.

I can’t say enough amazing things about this place. It reminds me so much of the campgrounds. I went to as a young girl with my church. Recently came here with my children’s school and it was my first time coming with them. The grounds are so beautiful and they are so well kept. The staff that I met are so friendly and so nice and are willing to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We saw a lot of beautiful Nature and there’s nothing better than seeing kids having a blast outdoors all day long. There is always something to do. The cabins are clean and comfortable. The air conditioners work amazingly! I even made my way over to the donkeys and spent some time with them. Thank you so much to those who keep this place going. You’re doing a great job And we are so thankful to have a place like this to come and worship the Lord and have fun.

Coming back to this place with our friends, and there is a little spot by the bridge that trails off and leads to the lake where we found a SWIMMING HOLE and we were all in it. It's a good four feet deep and there's smooth rocks that drop off into the hole that you can slide down. Can't wait to come back!

I could not put into words how much I would recommend this place! We've been running our environment education program at Lakewood Retreat for 5+ years and the family who runs it has become part of our family. Professional, accommodating, friendly; everything you're looking for in customer service, they've exceeded consistently! If you're thinking about booking your retreat, group outing, or family trip, do it now before they book up! The grounds are top tier for nature exploration with an extensive trail system, creeks, wild citrus picking, wildlife and the lake. So close to civilization, yet you feel like you've gone back in time with how beautiful & pristine the views are. Not to mention the food 😍 Thank you Lakewood Retreat, Anna, Brian, Jacob & Elijah for many years of success! We love y'all and what you're doing.
