Nice campground considering it's only $20/night. Our site, 33 was really nice except for lots of ticks. I found 2 crawling on my leg while I was setting up the travel trailer. we found several more shortly thereafter. It is that time of year. Just something to consider.

We have had such a wonderful time here! The host and Rangers are all super friendly. There's plenty of wildlife to watch and enjoy! The bathrooms are fantastic they aren't stuffy and the water stays hot during showers. We really enjoyed adventuring on the trails and we are ecstatic about the little spots we found along the way. The park itself is very clean and relaxing. We could not have picked a better campsite to visit for our first ever camping trip. We will definitely be returning and suggesting this place to all our friends and family! Thank you guys for the awesome experience!

This is located in the Withlacoohee State Forest. The campground is well maintained. Very clean. Has a very very large handicapped shower in both men and women's bathrooms and very large handicapped toilet stalls too. You can ride an electric scooter into them. In the men's bathroom is a little nook with a Bible and Daily Bread (not in the women's??). Out side hanging under the Men's sign are handmade Walking Sticks for on loan use. The sites are huge and well maintained. There are a total of 3 campgrounds here, Silver Lake. Cypress Glen and Crooked River. Crooked River is tent only. There are water and electric hook ups and a dump station. Also located her is this area is a Day Use area. A boat ramp is located here and it's a great area to kayak and canoe too. Also a large pavilion over looking the water. There are many trail accesses around. State Trail too.

Campground is nice. Not a lot separating sites. Pain to get to bathhouse if on outside of loop as no designated paths to get there, which is why people say you're walking through their site. Very poor planning. New bathhouse is very nice however. Anyone saying there is no noise from I-75 must have their hearing aids turned off. Trails are ok. There in January so a little chilly. No one out on lake. New divided highway makes it faster to get to Brooksville, or coast, but also way more traffic.
