Well, this place is very new and I didn't know it existed being right down the road from my house. It was very clean and organized. I have been to a few axe houses and this was my least favorite. There was no music playing, quiet and on a Friday night there were only 2 groups of people for the entire establishment. The rest was all family members running around. This is a family run establishment, and it clearly shows. I felt like I was the twice removed cousin at a Christmas family gathering that you only see once a year - awkward. They really need to focus on being customer driven, and not inside family driven. There were board games outside to play for free, but pool table, and darts that you have to pay for. The vibe was...just...boring. I would be back just for some friends that come out of town, but not a hangout spot for a good time. I love to see family businesses thrive, but they need to change their approach on how to get more customer footprint in there.

We hosted a private, all-day event at Southern Axe House and had an absolutely amazing time. The staff was fantastic from start to finish. The husband-and-wife owners were incredible hosts, and their daughters were just as wonderful—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The atmosphere was perfect for a private event, everything ran smoothly, and our group had a blast axe throwing all day. We’ll definitely be coming back for more axe throwing and to host future events. Highly recommend!

We had a blast at Southern Axe House. Once you start landing bullseyes, keeping score, and competing, it gets incredibly satisfying. The staff was very informative and took the time to show us how to throw the axe safely and accurately. We went as part of a double date and used it as a fun break from our busy real estate schedule with The Alonzo Group™. Highly recommend for anyone in the Spring Hill and Brooksville area looking for something different.

Our little group of 4 did the escape room on Saturday evening. We didn't escape, but we did have fun. They could not have been nicer. It's very well lit (considering you're throwing axes, that's a great thing. Ax throwing, escape room, pool table, and outside some oversized games (like jenga, connect 4, and others that I'm sure I missed). If you're looking for something to do that isn't the same old same old, go check them out. We had a blast and will definitely be back when the escape room has a new story/theme.

We had our work Christmas party there recently and 5 stars all around. The owners and staff are super nice. They are so accommodating and made the whole experience fun. We did the escape room and axe throwing and it was a blast. Thank you again and we will be back!
