This is a wonderful little state park. We are staying here 5 nights in RV. All sights are Huge!, clean, pretty level, great picnic tables and firering at each RV site. Most have a little shade. We are in #15 and have sun after 1. Great for biking, hiking, canoeing, fishing and picnicing. Nice bathrooms and showers. Open areas for a game of flag football. Back to nature. Has a boat launch

It is a clean park. The rangers patrol regularly. My only complaint is; the boat ramp is a bit long. But the people using the ramp are very nice. If you have a Sea Doo, Jet Ski, the banks are knee deep with muck. And there is no dock. So be careful and rest to load additional people or items at the launch ramp.

I go here for hiking. The scenery is great, but the trails are pretty overgrown. That's why I wear long pants, which I don't like (especially in the FL heat. Trail markers are messed up, and no maps available (maybe online?).

This is a very nice secluded park with a beautiful lake. The big oak trees are plentiful with great shade. The lake's water color is beautiful blue. It has nice benches to relax on & a big pavilion for picnics. The walking trails were clean & the brush was cut back. The restrooms were clean. A very clean well kept park. Silver lake was a good experience for us.
