I had a wonderful experience at Tampa General Hospital in Brooksville. The pre-op team, especially Mary, Andrea, and Abby, were excellent. They had great bedside manners, were very friendly, and were quick and efficient when getting me prepped for surgery. I also want to give a special thank you to the nurses who cared for me after my surgery, especially Eileen singson and thomasina. They both truly listened to my concerns and made me feel cared for and comfortable throughout my recovery. I really appreciate the kindness, professionalism, and compassion shown by the entire team. Thank you for taking such good care of me!

I've recently had experience with four hospitals in our area (three in Hernando county, and the trauma one in Pasco). This is by far the best hospital experience we've had for an emergency situation. The nurses have been wonderful from the ER to the PCU. Absolute angels. The doctors have all been surprisingly wonderful, too. Normally, nurses are wonderful and the doctors aren't so great but here we've had a great experience with everyone - Brianna in the ER and Kelly and Lorainne in PCU were the sweetest nurses we've experience through this ordeal. Brianna even stopped me a whole day later when she saw me coming in and asked how my mom was doing. Dr. Mathews (both father and son) saved my mother's life and were excellent with her care. Dr. Menendez was attentive and consulted with and differed to my mother's oncology team at Moffit for all major medical decisions, without any hesitation. He was wonderful. The only negative is the food. Hospital food is always awful, but there isn't really an option for meals, it's just whatever they are serving and the cafeteria closes after lunch so if you don't have someone who can leave and get or bring you food at night, meals may be an issue if you're picky or have restrictions. But since it's a small hospital, I understand. All-in-all, if you want a quiet hospital/ER experience with friendly and caring staff, this hospital is the go-to.

I visited the hospital for a surgical procedure and my experience was of the charts. From intake to outtake my experience was world class. The nurses who prepared me were professional and experienced while the team during the procedure were absolutely wonderful. Love to thank each one personally for the light, love, & laughter they brought to the experience. They easily brought a calm atmosphere to a scary procedure and had me smiling and laughing throughout. The follow up was the same and my best interests were always on the minds of those caring for me. 5 Star experience.
