Ephraim LivingstonWe made it to Ruthie's Kitchen and was not disappointed. The food was great and the owner was even better. She was very friendly and gave us a history lesson on Masaryktown and how she got into the business and why the food and culture has such a unique mashup. All the food was delicious and went well together. My wife and I shared the Lion's Plate that seemed like it had everything on the menu from butter, jerk and stewed chicken to greens, Mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, lima bean rice and brisket. My daughter had the butter chicken which was as good as any purely Indian restaurant we have visited. We have been looking to find a go to place ever since the pandemic deprived us of our favorite and this is it. I highly recommend Ruthie's Kitchen. We have a few more things on the menu to sample and we can't wait.

Troy HaudricourtEverything was absolutely amazing. It was our first time here and the wonderful lady behind the counter insisted we try everything and made us a custom sampler platter. The butter chicken, the jerk chicken, the short rib all were absolutely delicious and perfectly tender. I live right down the street and will definitely be coming back. The atmosphere and the food were equally excellent.

Ruthie BerdeciaThe food was AMAZING! We had the brisket, braised beef, Mac & cheese, collard greens, lima bean rice, naan, and wings! Besides the fact that Ruthie herself is just a beautiful soul, the food made me feel as if it was a home cooked meal! We will be back quite often!

Ryan Hope TravisEasily the BEST food I have ever had at a restaurant. I literally had to reactivate my Yelp account just to leave a review. Now, I’m on Google posting a review. Clearly, I’m a FAN. The Hungry Lion was incredible (brisket, short rib, lamb, stewed chicken, collard greens, sweet potatoes, rice). There were more items, but I ate too fast to ask for the description. I went back and got the Shrimp and Grits… my God! Do yourself a favor and go to Ruthie’s Kitchen ASAP. You are tasting YEARS of craft and excellence. Ruthie was back there actually cooking the food. You can taste the passion and love. Worth the drive and then some! P.S. Beautiful ambiance, excellent service. It’s a chill spot. Outdoor seating and open grass area for the kids. Locally owned.

Sanethia ThomasWowowowowow. The food was soooo good. Get the Butter Chicken. The Lima bean rice was great too.I also had Signature Salad, Indian Masala beef fried, Scallop potatoes, Ryan’s beans, Zambezi wings in Asian BBQ, flavor, Collards Greens, Sweet Potato Casserole, and Naan Bread. You can not go wrong with any of these options. All of this was catered for my friend’s daughter birthday party. 10/10.
