Jun 28, 2026 · Google ReviewWent in the evening when it wasn't so hot. The large open trails had a great breeze to make the hike enjoyable. Kids enjoyed seeing the deer bound out of a tall clump of close by reeds.
Jun 24, 2026 · Google ReviewHidden gem. Incredible views from the hill at the back of the park, surprising diversity of plant communities. Crawling with gopher tortoises during the warmer months. Excellent park for plant lovers. Tends to be very underutilized—if you aren't on the main road, you'll be the only person within five hundred or even a thousand yards most of the time. Make sure to bring enough water if you want to explore a broad swath of the park, because dehydration can sneak up on you.
May 16, 2026 · Google ReviewHad a great time walking the park and the beach area. During the time we were there it was not crowded. Had a great time looking around. Will probably come back to have a picnic.
