Gazebos with picnic table and large pier, historic details for history buffs! Fisherman of all ages are locals, tourists and transplants. Kayaks and boat launch there also.Friendly, helpful and respectful spot! I even bring my pup to just sit and bask in the peacefulness of waters and sky.
Jul 14, 2026 · Google ReviewIt was a warm day but there was an absolutely amazing breeze off the water that cooled it down nicely. There are kayak rentals around the corner and plenty of inlets to explore but better bring the sunscreen this time of year or you'll be cooked. A The boat ramp was a couple hundred yards back down the road and it was packed. I'm sure a lot of people were going to the grassland for the opening of the scallop season. Yummy!!

Mar 13, 2026 · Google ReviewGreat quiet place to pier fish. No telling what you’ll see or catch. A lot of lady fish ready to steal your bait. Seen several manatees.
Mar 27, 2026 · Google ReviewWe came for the sunset. It was raining but the sunset was beautiful. Only about 15- 20 cars here... most people were fishing. I would highly recommend this as a quiet spot to visit but no beach access.... although we've found small beach areas in the past in other areas of the park... they're not advertised! There's no parking fee!
