The food at Cracker Barrel is consistently good, which is why we continue to visit. Unfortunately, the restaurant itself seems to be lacking attention when it comes to maintenance and cleanliness. The bathrooms were not well maintained and could have been much cleaner. Service timing was also an issue during our visit. Our meals did not arrive at the table together, and some items were brought out so late that part of our group had already finished eating breakfast before the remaining food arrived. With better attention to cleanliness and food timing, this location would provide a much better dining experience.
Jun 22, 2026 · Google ReviewWe’ve been eating at Cracker Barrel for years and something has clearly changed with the sausage. My husband ordered the regular breakfast sausage patties and they came out with a reddish pink interior and a completely different taste from what we’ve always known. I tasted it myself to confirm. It’s not undercooked. It’s a different product entirely. The texture is off, the flavor is off, and it’s simply not what Cracker Barrel sausage has always been. The biscuits were still excellent. But the gravy had no flavor either, which was also a first for us. We’ve been loyal customers for a long time and we know what this food is supposed to taste like. Something has changed in the supply chain and nobody told the customers. We deserve better than that. If you’re going to switch products, own it. Don’t just quietly serve something different and hope nobody notices. We noticed. When we mentioned it to our waitress, she confirmed it immediately. Yes, she said, they switched products. That’s the new look and flavor. No apology, no explanation, just confirmation that this is what Cracker Barrel is serving now. She offered to replace it.
Jun 5, 2026 · Google ReviewWe were rather disappointed in the portion sizes. I sent my campfire chicken back because it was so small it looked like a cornish hen. There were only three potatoes and four carrots in it, very disappointing! I do realize it was Mother's Day but with a restaurant chain as large as they are they could have been better prepared. Our waitress was also very insistent that we order something very quickly as if she wanted us to hurry up. My wife had the roast beef and there were three pieces of meat and one small spoon of mashed potatoes.
May 12, 2026 · Google ReviewIt's been about 2 years since I went to a cracker barrel and we stopped for a quick lunch. We were there from sit down to leave an hour, a little longer than we expected, but it was worth it. The chicken was cooked perfect and the okra was nice and hot. My wife said the chicken noodle soup was very good.
Dec 12, 2025 · Google ReviewWent there for thanksgiving and thankfully they had an alternative menu option. It was warm and friendly, albeit obviously crowded. Food was tasteful, wasn't a fan of the gravy and okra, and the mac and cheese was delectable as always. The gravy has more of a ham taste while I usually prefer sausage.
