Known as the “Father of Florida Folk,” Will McLean dedicated his life to preserving the stories, history, culture, and natural beauty of Florida through music. Following his passing in 1990, the festival was established to carry on his vision of “Saving Florida Through Music,” and it has grown into one of the premier acoustic music festivals in the Southeast.
