Pollinator Census
Join us on Friday, August 21st for a drop-in program celebrating the Southeast Pollinator Census. Visitors are invited to participate in a group pollinator count at 10:00 a.m., where we’ll choose a plant together and record the pollinators that we observe. From 10:30 am-1:00 pm, the center will offer self-led drop‑in activities that can be enjoyed on-site or taken home. Pollinator counting sheets will also be available for anyone who would like to complete their own census at home or in their favorite outdoor space. Stop in, learn, explore, and help support this regional community science project.
Chinsegut has one track chair available on a first come, first serve basis for people with mobility challenges. If you would like to participate in this program and feel like you would benefit from the use of the chair, please contact us to request an accommodation.
