4.5 stars. Could use real bathrooms. Port-a-pottys since last hurricane. Kayaks were fine but I needed more back support to support my 6ft 3" frame. The Weeki Wachee river was awesome... saw many manatees!

Always a great time out here! The little shack is gone now so Mother Nature likely had a hand on that one but it doesn’t take away from the experience. Took my 4 grandkids and we spent the day spotting manatees and diving from trees into the crystal clear water. It was awesome however, the only downside was the amount of boats on the river while we were kayaking. Still a great day to get some vitamin D and build fun memories.

Fabulous start to finish!!! Easy checking and launch. Beautiful day on the river. Super easy docking and unloading. Early is best. Got crowded after lunch, but still a very memorable trip with my 2 teenagers. Paddled out about 3 miles and back in 5 hours with several stops to enjoy the river and take in the beauty. Saw hundreds of fish and 10-12 manatees.

Really great company took our walk in and prices are good. Everyone else says kids 12 years and up for kayaking and everyone else was sold out. We were able to take our family of 5 on two kayaks. Ages 1,5,8 . Very happy with the service and the spring is beautiful with manatees and dolphins that swim right under you. 10/10 experience great for all ages. There are spots you can stop and jump off the trees and walk around on the sand banks.

Kayak seats smelled like urine for 2/3 kayaks we had. Besides that it was good service and helped take the kayaks in and out . Water was great and the area is beautiful.

Great experience here today with the folks at Kayak Shack. They are nice young adults and we appreciate how professional the place is. We paddled 3 miles up stream which gets you about to the state park takeout but you turn around and it’s a an easier float back with the current. Plan for at least half a day if you do that and enjoy a swim or wade along the way on the beautiful water. The farther you paddle in the clearer it gets.

I'm hesitant to tell you to go here because I like that it's not crowded, but it is a lovely little spot to launch your kayak, grab a snack, and a short distance to Springs.
