Courtney BoydFabulous start to finish!!! Easy checking and launch. Beautiful day on the river. Super easy docking and unloading. Early is best. Got crowded after lunch, but still a very memorable trip with my 2 teenagers. Paddled out about 3 miles and back in 5 hours with several stops to enjoy the river and take in the beauty. Saw hundreds of fish and 10-12 manatees.

olivia randReally great company took our walk in and prices are good. Everyone else says kids 12 years and up for kayaking and everyone else was sold out. We were able to take our family of 5 on two kayaks. Ages 1,5,8 . Very happy with the service and the spring is beautiful with manatees and dolphins that swim right under you. 10/10 experience great for all ages. There are spots you can stop and jump off the trees and walk around on the sand banks.

Karen Ackerly,LMTThis qas a great experience for my 60 year old self and 27 year old Son. We rented 2 paddle boards and launch was easy and river was perfect. We spent about 2 hours and that was perfect. Then over to Lazy Lizzard for lunch. Perfect day. Thank You Kayak Shack. Easy Peasy

BlueLine_PatriotThey have really raised thier prices over the years but they are friendly, helpful and always open..have a large selection or kayaks, singles and tandems along with stand up paddle boards (SUP) oars and life jackets are supplied with each. I have my own kayak but, when friends come from out of state and want to experience the river and kayaking, The Kayak Shack is our go to for about 12yrs now..

Hov KVisited Saturday during a little cold snap so we got to see a ton of manatees! Saw them in two parts to be exact and they were really close to the start of the kayaking! Last at the front was an angel, and the gentlemen that helped push the boat in for us was very supportive as well! Highly recommend if you’re in the Tampa area and are looking to kayak in the clear waters and see some wild life!
