Pretty area with gorgeous views of the lake. Cute little boardwalk. We took our bikes and hit the Withlacoochee State Trail from here. Nice parking area and clean bathrooms.
Dec 30, 2025 · Google ReviewThis is a nice quiet park where you can have multiple activities. There is a boat ramp. If you decide that you want to go fishing plenty of parking. It’s kind of secluded kind of quiet. It does have a playground for kids. The restrooms are available. Nothing else much going on here. It is kind of small, but it is connected to a trail. If you have a bike or you’re gonna be walking
Jul 7, 2025 · Google ReviewIt is one of the most peaceful places in Florida. Nice little dock that goes add on to the lake unfortunately no seating area out on the lake but there is a entrance to the lake it's very Gravely and lots of potholes but if you are good at boating you can launch from that location. There's a couple of picnic tables close to the lake, but most of the park is out towards the front of the road. The preserve that outlines the lake is really beautiful, with giant cypress trees. There are always a variety of different kinds of birds. Today, I got to meet Winnie, who was a beautiful horse. She took a 3-mile ride from the stable to come cool off in the lake. I just happened to find this place on a road trip. But it is a great place if you want to put on a kayak or a small boat. Or you can relax and fish off the pier. It's a peaceful place. Remember when you come to the park you have to drive to the back where it says boat ramp. It's just a little park with the trail that goes through it!! Don't forget the bug spray it is a preserve . And also not a swimming spot. There are definitely Gators
Jul 21, 2024 · Google ReviewNice park and resting area along the Withlacoochee trail if you are cycling.🚴‍♂️ It's about 15 miles from Inverness to the north, and 16 miles to Owensboro to the south and end of the trail. There is water available, and the restrooms are clean. It also has a beautiful swampy section where the boat-ramp is located with a good-sized fishing dock. I have launched kayaks from this area. Great fishing here, but watch out for gators. They can get quite close.
Mar 26, 2024 · Google ReviewBentley, my loyal dog, absolutely loves this place and would easily give it five stars for its fantastic sniffing opportunities. The trails are lined with a variety of interesting scents that keep him engaged and curious. We had a delightful time walking through the lush surroundings, enjoying the fresh air and the beautiful scenery. Each step brought new discoveries, and Bentley's excitement was contagious as he explored every nook and cranny. It was a wonderful outing for both of us!
