I had made plans to board with Rita, when I came to look at her barn with my daughter she told us she sells hay but if we want we can keep hay in her wooden lockers. Right before I was moving in, she told me she has no place for me to keep hay. Now even when I payed full board there was always a small space for us to store some extra hay. Rita does things a certain way which is fine but she doesn’t know how to communicate it to someone. She accused me of taking advantage of her and wanting more than what I was paying. While I was trying to understand her, she kept saying you’ll be happier somewhere else. She obviously didn’t want to be bothered. She was rude with comments like my barn, my rules. This is not how you treat a paying customer regardless of the price and she’s very unprofessional. I would really think twice boarding at Rita, if she can’t even explain something to you how can you go to her if your horse gets sick or has a problem. This is a my way or the highway and she thinks everything is about money.

Amazing place to board the horses. Ms.Rita, Is the owner, she's amazing. A wonderful horse enthusiast who will always step up and help you in any way she can with you're riding skills and the handling of your horses. When it comes to ridibg stables there is no better place than the Sunset Stables.
