Nicely maintained paths with signs directing you through them. Babbling creek and lots of wildlife to see. Waterproof shoes are best during morning walks when the ground is wet.
Aug 26, 2025 · Google ReviewThe recreational facilities at the education center site are top notch, and it has a nice mix of habitats, but I like upland plant communities and find Big Pine tract is the better section for that. I always enjoy a walk here, there are a variety of trail lengths, and the trails are wide and well maintained. The butterflies and pollinators also love it in the warmer months. The pit toilet was out of tp on this trip, so there are no guarantees for that. Parking has never been full. No fee.
Jan 3, 2024 · Google ReviewIt’s a beautiful hike 1.5 mile loop and more if you are up for a longer hike. Butterflies, wild flowers, dog friendly.
Sep 26, 2025 · Google ReviewDogs aren't allowed at this park. 😔 I hike with my Greyhound buddy so we weren't able to explore the trails. I wandered around the trailhead area only. There is an information kiosk, sign in log, picnic table and vault toilet at the trailhead. The toilet was handicap accessible and clean. What I could see of the trails were mowed and wide. It's a pretty place on a quiet road. There is additional park access across the street from the parking lot.
