Nice park, interesting but don't take your eyes off the path for to long... As others have mentioned, roots are everywhere. I tripped several times. Lots of mother flowers to enjoy and a few squirrels around. Didn't see any other wildlife except a few bugs... Very shady. Was a good hike. No restrooms... Be aware before hiking.
Oct 2, 2025 · Google ReviewNice hike short hike under the canopy of trees so it is good on them hot sunny days. One part of the trail can get a bit muddy . We'll maintain path and it is dog friendly but please pick up after your dogs. Enjoy Florida Nature
Sep 16, 2024 · Google ReviewNice covered trail to take your dog early in the summer months. Not many bugs. Easy terrain but tree roots can trip you so beware.
Jun 12, 2025 · Google ReviewA very good trail by Florida standards. Lots of tree cover along a 2.5 mile loop. The trail is well marked and relatively flat except for some roots. There are a couple benches along the way to sit if needed. Not much parking but if you get there early there shouldn't be too many cars. I saw lots of dogs on leashes so it appears dog friendly. Overall I'd recommend and plan on hiking again.
May 22, 2024 · Google ReviewVery peaceful and pleasant trail to hike. It is very easy to navigate with lots of shade throughout. Great place to get some fresh air and walk your dogs. Usually not very busy. When you do run into someone, they are mostly pleasant.
