I've held off writing this review because I was waiting for the story to end, which it did recently. Our club rented the facility in 2025 for a private drag race event. The planning was fantastic as we started this process in February, for a September event date. The staff was responsive, helpful, and patient with us through the months. We arrived the morning off and was greeted with staff, who immediately started prepping the track for us. While they worked, Mayor Thomas walked us around showing us all of the cool things to do and see at the track. Once ready, our group started making single passes down the track. The track was prepped well, the lights and timing systems work great, and the surface felt solid. One of our younger members was among the group racing. On her 5th pass, the incoming storms had dropped the track temperatures a bit. While still dry her car unfortunately got loose, sideways and impacted the wall on the front drivers side. She was perfectly fine and the paramedic on site was on the scene in less than a minute. The track staff handled the incident quickly, making sure the car was safe and pulled it back to the start line. That's when the sky opened up and the rain started. While we waited the rain out, figuring out what to do, the track officials, paramedic, and the owner were constantly present checking on us, making sure everyone was comfortable, offering words of advice, and offering any and all help to make things right. The owner even opened up his merchandise to our group to help themselves. That evening we came back for the car with a trailer to tow her home. The staff met us back at the track, opened up and gave us access to any and all resources we needed. We towed the car home and happily found a shop that specialized in fixing race cars. The owner of that shop did an amazing job replacing all damaged items from a donor GTO, and the car looks like new. With this review I'd like to thank Lead Foot City for all of their support and hospitality during our event. We had an amazing time and plan to return in the next year. I highly recommend this track for any time of event.

First time at Lead Foot City and that was sooo much fun. I'm so glad my sons made me go. Can't wait to go back very soon!!! Had to come back and add some more. Last time we went I did something off my bucket list. I went for a ride a long and "hot dog" that was one my favorite things I've ever done!!! The extra lap and back start blew me and had my sons waiting for me soooo happy that I did it. I can't wait to come and do it again! Do the ride along. You won't regret it.

Loved the food truck row. Plenty of varieties of food. Bar vendors, and an inside bar as well. You definitely have to grab a seat in the stands if you want to really see the cars race on the strip. ( But it's was Don Garlits 94th birthday )That was my only disappointment 🤷 seemed to be family friendly as well. Also had face painting for the kiddos🥰

September 6th was an amazing day! 3x the jeeps they expected and parking was seamless, no lines for food and beverages either. They had it all prepared and executed it flawlessly. The 2 spots for drinks were great, cool air, fast service and friendly staff. Got to crush some cars, drag race and drift cars and don’t forget the burnout spot!! Can’t wait for another event…had a great time!
