Upon entering, you find yourself in a true old-Floridana style gift shop, filled with an assortment of kitschy souvenirs including beloved orange-blossom perfume, sharks teeth, dinosaur fossils, shell mobiles, and more. Growing, processing and packaging citrus still occurs, and Boyett’s raises the largest variety of commercially grown citrus in Hernando County. In fact, visitors can watch a refurbished washing and packing machine dating back to the 1940s process the fruit.
What began as a fruit and citrus stand in the 1960s, Boyette’s Grove and Citrus Attraction has evolved into a classic roadside attraction on Florida’s Adventure Coast, Brooksville-Weeki Wachee. Today, along with citrus, you’ll find a variety of fun for all ages; miniature golf, an aviary, zoo, dinosaur room, gift shop, ice-cream parlor and more!
