Spring
Florida’s Adventure Coast is warmed by sunshine and extra blue skies in the Spring, a perfect time for outdoor music and art festivals, nature activities and fresh u-picking. A favorite for locals and visitors alike, the Brooksville Blueberry Festival coincides with blueberry season on Florida’s Adventure Coast, when visitors can visit local farms for fresh blueberries and u-picking. Following is sunflower season, with local farms offering sunflower mazes and farm festivals for visitors and families to enjoy.

Summer
Between splashing at Weeki Wachee Springs State Park and enjoying the warm weather on Florida’s Adventure Coast waterways, visitors can look forward to Summertime festivals and community events. A popular Summer activity, Scallop Season begins on July 1 on Florida’s Adventure Coast, located on the southern border of the full season that runs through September 24.

AUGUST
Fall
Music festivals and many large, family-friendly events fill up the calendar as the weather cools (just slightly) in the Fall. Harvest festivals offer family-friendly fun for the whole season; corn mazes, pumpkin patches, farm games and haunted trails are just a few of the activities you’ll find. This season is brimming with seasonal events, from spooky haunted houses, a Festival of Trees and more leading up to the Holiday Season.
