Deep in the cypress forest, on the edge of the Chassahowitzka Wildlife Management Area, Wild Buck Distillery is in a serenely beautiful setting. The spring fed pond onsite is the water source for an efficient chilling system. Proprietary filtration techniques, the finest all natural ingredients, curing and distilling within an imported hand hammered copper still are closely controlled before relinquishing to another key element: time. Oak barrels gently age their contents for fifteen months in an open-air barn. The barrels, turned with just the right frequency, even get walked around on horseback occasionally to assist with blending.
Once aged and ready, the product is individually poured into heavy square-bottomed bottles. Featuring a distinctive gold embossed label, the bottle neck is encircled with stamped leather and each cap etched mahogany. To taste it is to love it.
