A Brooksville Vision Foundation project in cooperation with the City of Brooksville and Hernando County
It’s Brooksville Main Street’s favorite time of the year and we are celebrating in every possible way. Our decorations are hung, our Christmas trees are lit and we have events lined up every day until December 23! Going on right now through December 7 is our 2nd annual Festival of Trees, a free event with trees and wreaths decorated by local businesses and available for purchase through a silent auction.
Looking for an outdoor activity? Take part in our daily Keys to Christmas Scavenger hunt. Clues are provided on our website and in our businesses and the first person to find the key each day wins a $25 gift card or prize from our businesses.
Our Christmas On Main Street Concerts start December 4 and 6 pm and each night will feature different musicians, including Kid Ambient Arcade, Live Oak Theatre, Nate Johnson, DJ Midg, Peyton Monarch, St. Anthony’s Church, Grace Tabernacle Church, Dell Barnes, Stir Up the Gift, and Al Chance.
In addition to the music on December 5, you can also watch Patricia’s Windows Come to Life, see Santa at Mulligan Law Firm and have Dinner on Main Street as a fundraiser for Live Oak Theatre. Tickets are available on Eventbrite.
Our ever popular Carriage Rides return to Brooksville December 16, 17, 22, and 23 from 6-10pm. We have added an additional carriage to accommodate demand. Tickets are purchased day of starting at 4pm. And our Family Christmas Nights will also be held December 16-17. Held in Hernando Park, we will have Santa, a petting zoo, and a magician! Santa will also be available both nights at 5pm in the Brooksville Welcome Center for children with special needs.
