    The Main Street Farmers Market returns to historic Brooksville. You’ll find locally-grown fresh produce, seasonal fruits, crafts and other items. After you’ve gathered your garden goodies, stop by one of the local eateries … enjoy freshly brewed coffees and teas, pastries, breakfast and lunch. Browse through the retail shops for some unique home furnishings and gift items. Believe it or not, it’s a great time to start your Christmas (in July!) shopping.

    BAT WATCH & NIGHT HIKE

    Join the Conservation Center staff for a viewing of the night time emergence of the hundreds of Brazilian free-tailed bats; then enjoy a brief night hike to May’s Prairie to see who else is out in the evenings. The night hike is an opportunity for all ages; however, the terrain is not suitable for strollers. Please dress appropriately for walking; insect repellant and bottled water is suggested.
