This year, join us on Main Street, December 8th as the Christmas tree light show comes to life, followed by carolers, holiday treats, vendors, and, of course, Santa Claus. Join us for a German Christmas Festival, Christkindl, hosted at the Brooksville Women’s Club and featuring music, special German foods, vendors and fun for all. Our local restaurants will have delicious treats for you to enjoy, our shops will be filled with holiday treasures for everyone and the dancing lights will start your holiday season in a merry way. Barbara and Steve Manuel own WXJB 99.9 Radio in Brooksville. After 34 years as a teacher, Barbara retired from the Hernando School system in 1999. Now, in charge of sales for WWJB, she has been invaluable in planning and promoting many community and special events in Brooksville. This year she brought her considerable talents to Brooksville’s newly formed Main Street Program, chairing the Promotions Committee while continue to bring a sparkle to beautiful Brooksville.
