Grab some lunch and house-roasted Mountaineer coffee while you wander streets anchored by the historic courthouse and browse eclectic merchants like Young & Company, Resale Gypsies, Easy Street Home Decor, Patricia’s Boutique and Brookstone Wines.

It’s time to visit the Farmer’s Market! Beginning on Sunday March 25, Florida’s Adventure Coast farmers and agricultural producers offer their finest goods at the Brooksville Farmer’s Market. Experience farm-to-table bounty with fresh produce, meats and local seafood available in Brooksville every Sunday morning.
On the third Sunday of every month (March through June and September through December), take a cruise on the back roads of Florida’s Adventure Coast and end your trip in downtown Brooksville to enjoy food and entertainment. Featuring live music, local restaurants, craft beer, classic car parking and motorcycle parking.
‘Friday Night Live’ is a new outdoor concert series in historic downtown Brooksville to be held at the Bandshell. Starting March 9, these events will feature live bands and food trucks on the second Friday of every month. The first band to play is Actual Bank Robbers, a pop-rock band based out of Tampa.
Spend the evening browsing the work of local artists, makers and small businesses during Orange Avenue Market events. Downtown streets are closed off and the city block is transformed during the evening for Orange Avenue Market. Event dates are announced on their facebook page.
The last weekend in April is the date for the annual Brooksville Blueberry Festival. Smaller in scale than its predecessor, the Brooksville Blueberry Festival bills itself as the “Best Little Festival in Florida.” Celebrating all things blueberry and local, this free weekend family-friendly event will feature a variety of live music, food and entertainment.
And, although not new, don’t miss Art in the Park, one of Southeast Tourism Society’s Top 20 Events. This stunning juried display of fine art occurs on March 10 and 11 at Brooksville’s Tom Varn Park.
